2013 Porsche Cayenne Diesel Test drive

This is the first time Porsche offers a diesel powered SUV with a V6 3.0-liter aluminum with variable geometry turbocharger (same as found on the 911 Turbo S). This is able to develop up to 240 HP and 406 lb impressive-ft of torque.
The forces are transmitted to all four wheels through a transmission 8-speed Tiptronic S, which can be operated manually via the lever or using buttons on the steering wheel.
The 2013 Porsche Cayenne Diesel weighs 4.795 pounds - 700 pounds lighter than the Audi Q7 and the MB GL350 Bluetec. The weight difference one was enough, so Porsche re-programmed the computer to get the 240HP and 406 lb-ft. This can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 7.2 seconds, using 19 miles per gallon in the city and 29 on the highway.

The Cayenne Diesel wheel with the determination that only a diesel vehicle can offer. 8-speed transmission works quickly, providing high levels of torque continuously. Many are concerned that the towing capacity of this SUV is 7.716 pounds.
The base price for Cayenne Diesel is $ 56.725, not bad for an SUV from Porsche. Before you get excited and run out to the nearest Porsche dealer, I have to let you know that the price increases significantly with every available option.
If you are interested in the sport wheels aluminum 21 "painted in black will add $ 6.505 to the bill, headlights bi-xenon headlights ($ 2,435), navigation system ($ 3,675), system tuning and memory for the seats ($ 2,205) , black leather interior ($ 3.655), etc. Actual prices for our test unit reached $ 95.655 with almost all available options.
In conclusion, the strength of its diesel engine, the sporty handling, its interior ambience and functionality this SUV has become my new favorite utility.
